PTS retain UKAS Accreditation for Laboratory Testing and Product Certification
Last week PTS had our annual UKAS surveillance visit for both laboratory testing and product certification as part of our accreditation requirements. For the first time this had to be done remotely due to Covid-19 but pleased to say we have successfully maintained our accreditation. We would like to say a big thank you to all our employees who have undertaken the testing, calibration and administration duties as part of the assessment which has helped us maintain this essential accreditation!
The PTS Laboratory testing facility provides clients with a vast range of compliance and performance related asphaltic and bituminous tests, ranging from the simple, such as density testing, to the more complex rheological assessment of bituminous products. Testing is undertaken in accordance with our UKAS Accredited Quality Management System and current schedule of accreditation to meet the requirements of highway, seaport and airfield standards and specifications. In addition to working to industry standards and specifications, our experienced, knowledgeable, and highly qualified laboratory team can assist our Clients to develop bespoke testing methods and regimes to meet their very exacting requirements.
