What Is Involved?

XA© Skid Policy can consider all attributes of a site to assess the likelihood of a skidding accident. If necessary, the software also enables the user to define certain attributes for the assessment.

Following an infrastructure risk management assessment, the Skid Policy module will determine whether:

  • A surface treatment is justified
  • Some other form of action is required
  • The site should be kept under review
  • The investigatory level is appropriate (with justifications in the case of any changes)
