Job Description:

XAIS-PTS Ltd is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our rapidly growing team, working on exciting projects across the UK. 

As an HGV Driver, you will play a vital role in collecting condition data for both local and national authorities across highways in the UK. The role requires you to hold a minimum of a Class 2 HGV license. The post holders will be working across the UK to undertake day-to-day site testing and surveying operations within local authority areas to identify. The role does require staying away from home weekly due to contract commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all plant and equipment is operational and safe before leaving the depot
  • Ensure vehicle checks have been done before leaving the depot and all vehicles are kept clean and tidy
  • Ensure that all work and tasks carried out are done as per company guidelines to assist, in the continual development and improvement of XAIS-PTS, its ISO 9001 management systems and to comply with all international standards, Health and Safety, applicable laws, regulations, protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • HGV Class 2 License - Essential
  • Mechanical skills - Preferred
  • CPC Card - Essential
  • Working away from home - Essential
  • Hold current CSCS card - Preferred
  • Clean Driving License – Preferred (Above 6 points will not be
  • considered for the role)
