Infrastructure Asset Lifecycle Management
It can often be a challenge for local government organisations and agencies to manage their whole infrastructure network data – especially in a way that makes it easier for all involved parties to understand the information they need to ensure projects and schemes can progress.
From data collection, management, integration, and analysis, the process must be made more simple, efficient, and reliable. That’s why XAIS-PTS has developed XA© Infrastructure Assets, a single platform for managing both asset and condition data across the entire infrastructure asset lifecycle.
XA© Infrastructure Assets
Built into the XA© Asset Management Platform, XA© Infrastructure Assets provides extensive functionality for managing all infrastructure assets across the whole infrastructure asset lifecycle – from carriageways and footways to bridges, signs, lining lighting, and more.
This software includes a royalty-free, fully integrated GIS and mapping system that allows easy visualisation of both asset and condition data across the whole network. Following a highway survey, XA© Infrastructure Assets allows the user to load, analyse, and report on all their infrastructure condition data, as well as produce a full Forward Works Programme plan.
Key Features
XA© Infrastructure Assets allows users to pick from several pre-defined inspection regimes. Alternatively, they can create and maintain their own inspections with associated defects to manage their budgeting, service levels, and performance indicators, as well as:
- Hotspot (scheme) identification & prioritisation
- Configurable treatment selection rules
- Condition projections
- Lifecycle planning & modelling (Forward Works Programme)
- Value management
- WGA asset valuation (DRC / GRC)
- Map-based visualisation of all data & assets
- Economic analysis
- Flexible user-definable reporting
- Summary dashboards
The Well Managed Highway Infrastructure: A Code of Practice
The Well Managed Highway Infrastructure: A Code of Practice was commissioned by the Department for Transport (DfT) and came into effect in October 2018. It establishes guidance for authorities surrounding the development and maintenance of highway infrastructure per local needs, priorities, and affordability.
XA© Infrastructure Assets enforces this code of practice, encouraging local authorities to take a risk-based approach to their infrastructure asset lifecycle management. We pride ourselves on our extensive experience, supporting clients with accurate and dependable guidance regarding the latest governmental regulations and local documentation.
